The Legion of Mary is a lay Catholic organisation whose members are giving service to the Church on a voluntary basis in almost every country. The object of the Legion of Mary is the glory of God through the holiness of its members developed by prayer and active co-operation in Mary’s and the Church’s work. The unit of the Legion of Mary is called a praesidium, which holds a weekly meeting, where prayer is intermingled with reports and discussion. Persons who wish to learn more anout the Legion of Mary may attend one of our meetings and learn of all the wonderful things our Legion of Mary Praesidiums are doing. The members participate in the life of the parish through visitation of families, the sick, both in their homes and in hospitals, and many other works of prayer and service to help our local community. We give of our selves in in the spirit of faith and in union with Mary to better our Catholic parish and community. We invite all to come join us at our meetings to learn more about the Legion of Mary and how we can better serve our Lord and Blessed Mother.
The Legion of Mary meets weekly in Mary's Room next to the St Anthony's School gym. Meeting times are as follows:
Mondays 10:00am- Legion de Maria (Spanish group)
Wedenesdays 10:00 am
Thursdays 10:00am and 6:00pm
